Winning Word-of-Mouth Paper to be Presented at the ARF Audience Measurement 2015 Conference

Analytic Partners will co-present the winning paper, “Return on Word of Mouth…Is It All Talk?”

Analytic Partners’ paper, “Return on Word of Mouth…Is It All Talk?” has been selected for presentation at the Advertising Research Foundation’s AM:2015 conference. On Monday, June 15, 2015, AP Vice President, Mike Menkes, will present findings from the recent Analytic Partners study on word-of-mouth (WOM) marketing.

Mike will present the paper alongside Lauren Salazar of Weight Watchersand Beth Rockwood of Discovery Communications, two brands that participated in the WOM study.

Some topic areas to be covered include:

  • What is the value of word of mouth? What is the role of online? Offline?
  • What tools and strategy did Weight Watchers leverage to drive even more word-of-mouth about its Super Bowl spot following the big game?
  • What is Discovery doing to socialize an earlier-than-ever Shark Week coming up this July?

Likewise, a key takeaway from the study that “word of mouth can help and hurt your business more than you think” will be explored.
